Position Description

Are you a dedicated individual with a passion for training and a desire to enhance your skills in a dynamic administrative environment? Serco-NA is seeking a Training Administrator to support the effective coordination and execution of training programs.

 

This position may require vocational or technical education in addition to relevant work experience and is contingent upon contract award.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Assist in organizing, scheduling, and executing training programs, ensuring that all logistical elements are in place for smooth delivery.
  • Maintain training databases, learning management systems (LMS), and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for training-related inquiries, providing clear explanations or interpretations of training procedures, schedules, and requirements.
  • Help create and update training materials, manuals, and documentation, ensuring they reflect the most current policies and procedures.
  • Address routine issues that arise in the course of training operations, with occasional need for interpretation or deviation from established procedures.
  • Work closely with senior staff and training professionals to support program development and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor degree plus at least 3 years of experience in training administration or a related field. Previous experience in coordinating training programs or educational services is preferred.
  • An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Basic knowledge of systems and procedures related to training programs, gained through prior work experience or education.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain and interpret routine processes and information for stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle routine problems and make minor adjustments to working methods when necessary.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment with moderate supervision, contributing to shared objectives.
  • 10% travel is required 

Additional Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and managing training schedules.
  • Basic proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to adapt to minor changes in working methods or procedures to meet the needs of the organization.

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $56,397.65 to $84,596.99; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills
