Position Description

Are you a highly experienced professional with a passion for leading training programs and enhancing organizational performance? Serco-NA is seeking a Training Instruction and Facilitation Manager with deep expertise in the field to make significant improvements in training processes, systems, and products. 

 

This position requires maintaining an active DoD security clearance and is contingent upon contract award.

 

In this leadership role, you will oversee the development and delivery of training initiatives, ensuring that they meet organizational goals and drive performance improvements across multiple departments or specialties.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Lead the development and facilitation of complex training programs, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and improve the performance of job areas across departments.
  • Identify areas for improvement in training processes and systems, and implement moderate to significant changes to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Investigate and analyze numerous and undefined problems related to training, drawing on prior experience and detailed analysis to develop solutions. Issues typically impact multiple departments and require cross-functional collaboration.
  • Address difficult and moderately complex problems that affect a variety of specialties or job areas, leveraging deep knowledge of the field to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with multiple departments to ensure that training programs meet the needs of different specialties and contribute to overall organizational performance.
  • Oversee and manage large-scale training projects, from planning and design to execution, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
  • Utilize advanced knowledge of instructional techniques, training technologies, and educational best practices to enhance the quality and effectiveness of training initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 7 years of experience in training, instruction, or facilitation, with a proven track record of leading successful training programs.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in education, or a related field is required. Advanced education or certifications in project management or instructional design are a plus.
  • An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
  • Deep knowledge of training methodologies and facilitation techniques, typically gained through a combination of advanced education and significant work experience.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to solve undefined and moderately complex problems that affect multiple departments.
  • Proven ability to make significant improvements to training processes and systems to enhance performance and outcomes.
  • Broad knowledge of project management, with the ability to oversee and manage training projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within scope.
  • 10% travel is required

  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team of training professionals.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and specialties to ensure training programs meet broad organizational needs.
  • Flexibility in addressing evolving training requirements and implementing innovative solutions to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

In compliance with local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $73,775.81 to $119,884.79; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills
