This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret clearance and customer approval.

You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams to deliver quality systems.

 In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and test all aspects of electrical components, equipment, and machinery. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments
• Overall, you will be part of an Engineering team consisting of mechanical and electrical engineers that works closely with the customer in delivering quality products and services to the fleet
• Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals
• Have experience/knowledge with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
• Lead Failure Analysis and corrective Action investigations, as needed
• Provide work leadership for lower level employees
• Support the development and creation of Technical Data Packages for complex systems
• Comply with applicable quality and security procedures in the performance of duties 

To be successful in this role, you will have:  

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8-10 years of electrical engineering experience. Military experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Must have a DoD Secret security clearance
• Experience using Altium or similar circuit design programs
• Experience performing modelling and simulation of electronic systems
• Must be able to travel up to 10%.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Experience in Navy Defense Systems
• Technical Data experience for complex systems
