As a Program Manager in the METS BU Navy-Marine Corps (NMC) Portfolio, you will work with, program managers, business operations, and business development staff members to assist the Program Director execute current contracts and grow the portfolio to meet corporate growth goals

 

ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION.

 

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $93,730 - $187,460; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

 

In this role you will:

  • Assist the Program Director in oversight of NMC projects, providing guidance, mentorship, and instruction to NMC program managers for all phases of the project life-cycle.
  • Assist in the business development, capture and bid & proposal processes to grow the portfolio.
  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance of assigned projects in the portfolio.
  • Assist and mentor hiring managers in development of job requisitions, interviewing/screening candidates, and talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
  • Plan and lead process improvement.
  • Manage portfolio project and proposal data, and files in MS Sharepoint.

Qualifications

To be successful in this roll, you will have:

  • An active DOD Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5 years of experience in project management as a project manager or task leader.
  • Experience directly supporting or working on Navy, or Marine Corps staffs.
  • Experience collaborating across a geographically distributed environment.
  • Proficient in MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Additional experience that may set you apart:

  • Master’s Degree.
  • PMI Program Management Professional (PgMP), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • OPNAV, NAVAIR, PEO, or HQ USMC staff experience.
  • Experience as a successful Capture Manager on a large business development opportunity.
  • Experience leading bid and proposal efforts as a proposal manager, volume lead, or color team reviewer.
