The Senior Systems Engineer will provide multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices and will serve as an advisor to government personnel. They will lead working groups and develop engineering solutions to major acquisition program issues. The position will support multiple projects for a variety DoD acquisition program offices, work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings. This is a Full Time position that is based remotely from Canton, GA with travel and remote work options supporting DoD, Federal Civilian, and commercial customers as required.

In this role you will:

• Provide multi-disciplinary support to government system acquisition program management offices and will serve as an advisor to government personnel.
• You will lead working groups and develop engineering solutions to major acquisition program issues.
• You will support multiple projects for a variety of DoD acquisition program offices, work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• An active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Master’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years broad technical and managerial experience with DoD, including systems engineering analysis in support of major acquisition programs, and minimum 5 years’ experience with MBSE/Digital Engineering
• Experience working with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) artifacts to include: operations views (OV), systems views (SV), capability views (CV), data views (DV) using systems modeling language (SysML)

• Experience capturing DoD stakeholder needs in models

• Ability to travel up to 10%

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Active Top-Secret clearance, SCI eligible

Provide MBSE/SysML expertise and related support to the entire systems engineering team
• Integrate models to modern requirements management, architecture, and systems engineering software

• Develop and extend system models using existing requirements, interface documentation, and related design and systems engineering documents
• Experience executing alternative/rapid acquisition authorities
• Broad experience with development, coordination and communication of system engineering strategies and recommendations with mid- and senior-level Service and OSD personnel
