Position Description

Serco is seeking an SCA Travel Clerk 3 to join our dynamic team supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical administrative and travel coordination support across multiple training sites nationwide.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide travel, administrative, and operational support to six Mission Training Complex (MTC) sites and the headquarters location in McLean, Virginia.
  • Perform travel planning, travel coordination, and travel reimbursement tasks.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to develop solutions for problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Liaise with the program manager, site leaders, operations lead, and multiple stakeholders in travel accounting.
  • Assist the cost administrator and operations lead with over and above work order requests, project scheduling, and statistical reporting.
  • Serve as the Northrop Grumman One Badge Local Registration Authority (LRA).
  • Serve as the point of contact responsible for administrative/HR policy updates, processing new hires and exiting employees, corporate credit card applications, and FEDEX shipment processing.
  • Provide security backup at the MTC Security Window during exercises/events as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 7 years of finance and/or business administration experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of finance and/or business administration experience; or
  • Master’s degree with a minimum of 1 year of finance and/or business administration experience.
  • Must possess an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook minimum).
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 25% of the time).
  • Ability to work on-site at one of the following program sites: Camp Atterbury, Indiana; Camp Dodge, Iowa; Fort Chaffee, Arkansas; Gowen Field, Idaho; Fort Indiantown Gap, Pennsylvania; Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience using the CONCUR Travel system.
  • Previous experience serving as a Local Registration Authority (LRA).
