Position Description

Serco is seeking an SCA Supply Technician 1 to support the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP) at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana. This position involves key responsibilities in technical supply management and logistics operations that support the training complex's mission readiness.

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Perform inventory, storage, cataloging, and property utilization tasks supporting MTC supply operations.
  • Catalog inventory using bar code scanning tools and ensure end-user level accountability for all government-furnished equipment.
  • Prioritize tasks by commodity area or functional difficulty and allocate time accordingly.
  • Order expendable and durable supplies in coordination with procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) for required government vehicle usage.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in addressing building maintenance, repairs, and work/service order submissions.
  • Execute tasks based on standardized supply management operations or procedures with some variation due to program requirements.
  • Perform other supply-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED with at least 10 years of U.S. Army Supply and Property Book experience, OR
  • A Bachelor’s degree with at least 6 years of such experience, OR
  • A Master’s degree with at least 4 years of such experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
  • Analytical capability to interpret established guidelines and recommend actions based on data.
  • Physical ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work on-site at Camp Atterbury near Edinburgh, Indiana.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in property accountability, supply chain practices, and equipment tracking.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army logistical systems and support processes.
  • The ability to execute supply functions independently with limited supervision.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • At least 20 years of experience working with Army Supply and Property Book procedures.
