Serco is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This entry-level engineering role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and support of mission-critical systems within a highly innovative and collaborative environment. This position is part of Serco’s Global Battle and Mission Readiness Division, supporting defense sector initiatives.

In this role, you will:

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complete systems.
• Conduct analyses across all levels of total system products including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Translate customer or product requirements into comprehensive system solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Execute functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to support system development into hardware and software specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Must be majoring in or have majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Demonstrated academic success with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world applications.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
