Position Description

CNIC Regional Offices enable improving operational performance and cost reductions through business process definition, analysis, and development of technical capabilities which automate processes or improve transparency for analytics and decision making. The Applications Systems Analyst will maintain applications in both ColdFusion and Visual Basic. NET, as well as maintain SharePoint, perform code review on existing code (Fortify, GIT/SourceTree), and act as the back up to the development team. 

 

This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer your Secret Clearance

 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Provide development, deployment, testing, maintenance, hardening, troubleshooting and integration of various applications (including web applications) and workflows.
  • Provide application coding support using various programming languages and tools such as ColdFusion, Jquery, SAP, Rest API, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, GIT and SourceTree.
  • Using these tools; develop, maintain, deploy and integrate applications using various server platforms such as SQL Servers database, SAP Crystal Servers and Internet Information Services (IIS) Webservers.
  • Be responsible for hardening the code of various applications and related databases, as appropriate, and remediate any cybersecurity vulnerability findings.
  • Follow and implement modern IT and programming policies and best practices.
  • Follow the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) framework.
  • Attend Change Control Board (CCB) meetings, send change requests to the CCB for approval.
  • Perform configuration management (CM) of codes and supporting documents using best CM practices
  • Provide SharePoint Page or Site Administration; act as the Region Gateway Manager (RGM).
  • Attend monthly RGM meetings held by CNIC.
  • Edit SharePoint webpage contents to include textual and graphical information; add, edit or delete SharePoint groups; create or edit SharePoint work flows using SharePoint designer.
  • Manage SharePoint user access permissions.
  • Support migration to SharePoint Online and support Microsoft Power Apps.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active DoD SECRET security clearance
  • An up to date DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II baseline certification
  • GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB) or equivalent certification
    • CSSLP
    • CEH 
    • CASE Java
    • GIAC (GCLD, GPCS, GWEB, GCSA, and/or GCPN)
  • A High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 6 years of experience in technical training related to Information Technology, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related discipline
    • Or a Graduate degree and 2 years of relevant experience
    • Or a Doctorate degree and 1 year of relevant experience
  • IT working knowledge and experience, particularly in programming and integration of applications on various server platforms such as SQL Servers database, SAP Crystal Servers and IIS Webservers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Additional desired experience and skills: 

  • Experience in cloud migration is a plus

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $67,889.77 to $113,149.62; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
