Serco is seeking a Junior Acquisition Analyst – Business and Financial Operations (JrBFO) Specialist to support critical acquisition programs in a fast-paced, mission-driven federal government environment. This is a temporary assignment.
In this position, you’ll contribute to strategic decision-making processes that affect resource planning, contract execution, and program management in support of our federal partners. You'll be part of a collaborative team working to improve government acquisition and business operations with data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

Support federal acquisition and business operations by analyzing and coordinating contract information, program data, and logistical functions.
Work with team members to manage the full lifecycle of resource activities, including acquisition, internal allocation, distribution, delivery, and disposal.
Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Interpret and apply government procurement policies, regulations, and directives to support acquisition planning and execution.
Prepare and maintain reports and documentation to support office assignments and strategic initiatives.
Contribute to strategic recommendations that improve program office operations and overall mission effectiveness.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, accounting, economics, contracts, project/program management, or organizational management.
An Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business or program analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense environment.
Ability to analyze data, identify patterns or risks, and recommend actionable solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and ability to navigate and use internet-based research tools.
Ability to understand and apply federal acquisition regulations, policy, and guidance.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
