Position Description

Join our Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment (METS) team supporting Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Panama City Division (PCD). This position supports a broad portfolio of Maritime Engineering Operation (MEO) programs in the Panama City, FL/NSWC PCD geographic region onboard a fast-growing local team.

 

The Junior Project Analyst will, under direction of Management, support a developed portfolio of Maritime Engineering Operation (MEO) contracts at the Analyst level. Supports MEO programs to meet contractual and program deliverables. This position will also provide support to company, subcontractor, and vendor teams supporting contractual and program deliverables.

 

This position is contingent upon ability to obtain/maintain a current DoD Secret Level Clearance.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Apply analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to organize, plan, conduct, evaluate and administer contract requirements.
  • Assist by preparing contract reports, briefs, and presentations using data compiled by Serco and subcontractors.
  • Assist the PMO staff with conducting cost and/or price analysis and develop as applicable. Receive responses and assist Project Manager with cost/price analysis and development of project requirements.
  • Assist with Monthly Status Reports, Quarterly Status Reports, Travel Requests and other contractual requirements as directed by the Project Manager and PMO staff.
  • Assist processing invoices for payment on assigned Task Orders (TO). Assist the PMO staff with administrative actions in performance of contract deliverables.  
  • Assist preparations for and participate in audits of cost and performance data.
  • Assists in creating standardized reports, presentation graphs and track the status of contractual deliverables and process metrics on usage of the workflow capability to include Market Research, RFQ/RFP, Price Analysis, Best Value Trade-Off Report, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Government customer and upper management.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need: 

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • The ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret security clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Business or Technical field with 2 years of experience supporting DHS or DoD Programs.
    • OR an Associate's degree with 4 years of experience supporting DHS or DoD Programs.
  • Knowledge of government contracting environment
  • The ability to travel 10% to support off-site program and business development activities.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office Suite prior experience required.
